What Is ?

This new AIB series, What is? explores the Jewish mystical concepts of reality, time, consciousness, free choice, God and Evil with Rabbi Ari Sollish of the Intown Jewish Academy. In this series, Rabbi Sollish invites viewers to imagine we are able to rethink everything we know about the universe, the laws of nature, our own consciousness, and the very idea of existence and reality. He asks viewers to imagine the new insights we can gain, and the fresh perspective of life we would have each morning. What is? draws on the wisdom of Jewish mystical teachings to reexamine the most basic building blocks of existence, revolutionizing our understanding of life, reality, and our place in the world.

The four dimensions of reality, as outlined in the Jewish mystical tradition known as kabbalah, are explored in this episode of "What Is," a thought-provoking AIB Network series taught by Rabbi Ari Sollish of the Intown Jewish Academy in Atlanta. Rabbi Sollish's conversational style and references to popular culture and classic literature, as well as his vast knowledge of sacred text, make complex theological and mystical concepts easy to understand. The nature of creation and a divine creator are among the concepts explored.
