Dr. Amanda Hellman speaks about Fahamu Pecou's influential body of work, Do or Die. Fahamu Pecou is an Atlanta based artist who received his Ph.D. from Emory University. This body of work Do or Die is the culmination of his scholarship and commentary on black masculinity through the lens of the Egungun. The Egungun is a Yoruba masking tradition that Fahamu uses to honor the boys and men who have been killed by racialized violence.
